I am a life-long Christian who was raised in and serves God through The Episcopal Church. I graduated from The Virginia Theological Seminary in 2004 and was ordained as a deacon in the same year. On the Feast of the Epiphany,2005 I was ordained as a Priest.
I have worked in parish ministry for about 20 years now as Youth Pastor, Parish Administrator, Ministry Innovator & Consultant, and Associate Rector. My mission is to help people find their connection to God - especially those who have been previously marginalized by the Church. Currently I am in discernment about my next vocational call.
My husband, our three children, 2 huge dogs, and I live in Fairfax, VA.
I love to learn and find that the old adage holds true: nobody learns more than the teacher. Consequently, I love to teach and to see that light bulb go off over someone's head. I also just enjoy being with people of all ages and stripes; hearing their stories and making connections with others' stories - especially God's story.
